May 2023 - MG Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

All MG models witnessed a growth in sales in our May 2023 YoY sales comparison, except for the Astor C1-segment SUV, which reported a decline of about 71% in May YoY comparison analysis
ZS EV witnessed a YoY growth of 362% in May 2023 comparison analysis and was the top YoY gainer amongst the mass-market cars of the manufacturer
MG sold 1,397 units of the ZS EV electric SUV in May 2023 compared to 302 units in May 2022
Over a 71.46% YoY growth in the dispatches of the Hector pair were observed in May YoY comparison analysis
217 units of the MG Gloster were sold in May 2023 compared to just 51 in May 2022, which is a growth of 325.49%

May 2023 - MG Car Sales Figures - MoM Change

MG reported a drop in MoM sales for 3 out of 4 cars in its portfolio
MG Motors reported that ZS EV was the only car to have seen MoM rise in sales (of 201.73%)
Gloster sales declined by 23% in May 2023 compared to April 2023
Sales of Astor have been consistently declining for the past couple of months. In the month of May, Astor reported a drop of 15.91%
