While we have to wait for the official launch to know the prices of the AMG GLC coupe, we already know about the engines, aesthetics and features. So let’s take a look.

The AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe will be powered by a 3.0-litre V6 bi-turbo petrol engine. It makes 390PS of power and 520Nm of torque mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. It also gets a rear-biased AMG 4WD system with a capacity of sending 69 per cent of the torque to the rear axle.

The standard GLC Coupe, on the other hand, is offered with both petrol and diesel engines. The petrol engine on offer is a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine making 258PS and 370Nm. The diesel engine, on the other hand, is a 2.0-litre engine making 245PS and 500Nm. Both the engines are mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission, paired with an AMG all-wheel drive system. The AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe can go from 0-100kmph in 4.9 seconds and has a top speed of 250kmph.

Talking about the design, the AMG GLC Coupe will feature some AMG-specific updates like a new vertically slatted Panamericana front grille, updated LED headlamps and a redesigned front bumper. It gets a new set of alloy wheels and side skirting and there’s a rear spoiler, slightly redesigned rear bumper, quad exhaust setup and mildly tweaked tail lamps as well.

On the inside, it gets an AMG flat-bottom steering wheel, sporty front seats and an all-black cabin with red stitching. It gets dual-screen setup with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Other features on offer include air suspensions with AMG-specific adaptive damping system, multiple airbags, dual-zone climate control, wireless mobile charging, cruise control and active parking assist.

The AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe is expected to be priced around Rs 80 lakh, at a premium of around Rs 20 lakh over the standard GLC Coupe. The standard GLC Coupe is offered in two variants, priced at Rs 62.70 lakh (GLC 300) and Rs 63.70 lakh (GLC 300d) for petrol and diesel, respectively. When launched, the AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe will take on the Porsche Macan S, which is priced at Rs 83.95 lakh.
