The Hector Plus diesel costs a little more than Rs. 2.0 lakh more than the comparable petrol-manual trim. Meanwhile, the petrol-automatic costs about Rs. 1.33 lakh more than the manual. While the premium for the automatic transmission is a little more than our expectations, the diesel powertrain is absurdly expensive compared to the petrol-manual variants.
