2025 Honda Amaze To Launch On December 4 | V3Cars
Just days after revealing the first teaser sketch for the all-new 2025 Amaze, Honda have now confirmed the launch date for the B2-segment sedan. Honda are set to reveal the prices of the new Amaze on December 4, weeks after the launch of its primary rival, the new Maruti Dzire. Here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming Amaze.
2025 Honda Amaze Exterior Design
The new 2025 Amaze will ditch the outgoing model’s conservative styling in favour of a more aggressive and mature look, aligning with Honda's latest design language. The front end of the 2025 Amaze draws inspiration from the recently unveiled City facelift for the Brazilian market and the new-gen Civic.
The sharp LED headlights with integrated DRLs, a large hexagonal grille with a mesh pattern, and a chrome bar extending across the bonnet give the sedan a bold and dynamic appearance. The front bumper is also expected to feature sharper creases and a larger air dam, further enhancing the car's sporty character.
The 2025 Amaze is likely to be based on the same Global Small Car platform that underpins the City and Elevate. While the overall length is expected to remain similar to the current model (around 3995mm), the wheelbase could be extended to 2500mm or more, offering improved rear legroom. This would bring the Amaze closer to the City’s 2600mm wheelbase and the Elevate’s 2650mm wheelbase.

2025 Honda Amaze – Interior And Features
Honda are yet to reveal the cabin of the 2025 Amaze. However, we expect it to be a significant step up from the outgoing model. Honda are likely to ditch the current infotainment system in favour of a larger touchscreen unit, along with other tech upgrades. While the current model does not offer a sunroof, we expect the upcoming Amaze to offer a single-pane sunroof considering the new Dzire also gets this feature now.
2025 Honda Amaze – Expected Powertrain Specs
Honda are likely to offer the upcoming Amaze with the same powertrain options as the current model. So expect the 2025 Amaze to come with a 1.2L normal petrol engine with the choice of a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic transmission. The 1.2L normal petrol engine produces 90PS of power and 110Nm of torque and in the current model, it offers a mileage of 18.60kmpl with the manual transmission and 18.30kmpl with the automatic.
2025 Honda Amaze Expected Price
While the current version of the Amaze is priced between Rs. 7.20 lakh to Rs. 9.96 lakh, we expect the new-gen model to get a starting price of Rs. 7.50 lakh. The top Amaze automatic variant, however, could breach the Rs. 10 lakh mark with the new model. When launched, the new Amaze will rival the all-new Dzire as well as the Hyundai Aura and Tata Tigor.
