New Skoda Kodiaq SportLine trim launched in UK

Skoda has been garnering great attention and praises for its full-size SUV - the Kodiaq in the global markets. And now, the Czech automaker has introduced the sportier version of the popular SUV, the Skoda Kodiaq SportLine trim level in order to boost the SUV's success even further.
The Skoda Kodiaq SportLine has been revealed in the car market of the UK. The sportier SUV model’s pricing and specifications have been also revealed by the Czech company alongside commencing the bookings for the new variant.
The Skoda Kodiaq is the first 7-seater SUV from the house of Skoda. Ever since the Kodiaq was unveiled in the global markets, it has been getting praised by the buyers and critics alike. The Kodiaq is a very balanced and complete package of a vehicle and offers the right levels of practicality, nice styling, good features and descent performance along with impressive ride quality. Nevertheless, the SUV has been termed as a rather ordinary looking vehicle.
The Czech auto major unveiled the sportier Kodiaq SportLine version at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show back in March, and now it is open for orders in the car market of UK. The new Kodiaq SportLine trim has been placed between the SE L and Edition trims and comes with a starting price tag of £32,685, which goes up to £36,685.00.
The Sportline version offers sportier visual appeal to offset its sober looks for those who feel that way. The model offers a full design package which includes bolder styling elements muscular front and rear sport bumpers and stylish 20 inch Vega Anthracite alloy wheels. Other exterior styling updates on the SportLine trim include added sporty black detailing on its front grille, wing mirrors, side window trims and roof rails.
On the inside, the new Skoda Sportline trim offers the added luxurious and attractive features such as carbon effect trim on the dashboard and door inserts, premium Alcantara-trimmed bucket seats and door panels, and a leather steering wheel, which are offered as standard.
;The sporty black theme is carried on to the cabin from the exterior, and the black trim elements can be seen throughout the interior, while the LED interior lighting pack has been also added. When features are concerned, the Sportline offers everything that is found on the SE L models. On top of these, the Sportline trim adds the top of the range Columbus infotainment unit that boasts of a 9.2 inch large display along with integrated Wi-Fi and much more.
Skoda has also endowed a lot of features on the Kodiaq Sportline SUV, which are exclusive to the trim. These include a multifunction colour trip computer, electrically adjustable driver’s seat and front parking sensors.
The Kodiaq SportLine trim is available with two petrol and two diesel engine choices, which offer power outputs in the range of 150PS to 190PS. All the engines get ŠKODA’s AWD system as standard, while the DSG transmission is standard on the 2.0 TSI 180PS and 2.0 TDI 190PS models. The lower 1.4 TSI 150PS and 2.0 TDI 150PS models come with a manual and DSG transmission option.
