Nissan Magnite Geza Edition To Launch On May 26 With 9.0-inch Touchscreen, JBL Sound Launch | V3Cars

Nissan India will launch the Magnite Geza edition on May 26, 2023. The Magnite Geza bookings are currently open and the booking amount is set at Rs. 11,000. Read on to know what the Magnite Geza edition packs over the standard variants of Nissan’s B2-segment SUV.

Nissan Magnite Geza Edition Introduced

When launched, the new Nissan Magnite Geza edition will offer a couple of upgrades over the regular Magnite. The Magnite Geza edition will feature a new 9.0-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. In comparison, the current Magnite offers an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity.

Furthermore, the Nissan Magnite Geza edition will also offer a new premium beige seat upholstery instead of the all-black interior theme seen in the current Magnite. Other features of the Geza edition include app-controlled interior ambient lighting, an updated reverse parking camera, a shark fin antenna and JBL premium sound system. Apart from the functional upgrades inside the cabin, we can also expect to see a couple of changes on the exterior in the form of decals and badging.

Nissan Magnite Updated Safety Features

With the BS6 phase-2 update, Nissan India made some crucial safety features standard across all variants of the Magnite. These features include electronic stability control (ESC), traction control system (TCS), hill-start assist (HSA) and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Apart from these features, the higher variants of the Magnite also get features like a 360-degree parking camera and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

Nissan Magnite Powertrain Details

The updated Nissan Magnite continues to offer 2 petrol engine options — a 1.0L normal petrol and a 1.0L turbo petrol. The 1.0L normal petrol engine produces 72PS of power at 6250rpm and 96Nm of torque at 3500rpm. The 1.0L turbo petrol engine produces 100PS of power at 5000rpm and 160Nm of torque between 2800rpm and 3600rpm with the manual gearbox and 152Nm of torque between 2200rpm and 4400rpm with the CVT. Both engine options of the Mangite now comply with BS6 phase-2 and road driving emission standards.
