In this November 2022 Mahindra car sales analysis, we’ll look at the car sales of Mahindra for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Mahindra cars’ sales improved and which ones declined. Lastly, the table with monthly sales for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend of all Mahindra cars.
November 2022 - Mahindra Car Sales Figures - YoY Change
- The Mahindra Scorpio range (Scorpio Classic and Scorpio-N) that briefly took the top spot in terms of sales in September was overthrown by the Mahindra Bolero in October and continues its lead in November.
- Although the Scorpio SUVs lost their top spot this month, they were still the top gaining models for the carmaker, with over 90% growth in terms of November YoY change. We are ignoring the numbers of the Marazzo because it's a very low volume car and does not offer a fair picture.
- The XUV700 was the second best gainer for Mahindra, with a 70.68% YoY growth in the month of November.
- The Alturas G4 was the only loser in November YoY comparison with just 5 units dispatched in November. Subsequently, the Alturas G4 was discontinued by the carmaker.
- 2 units of the KUV100 were dispatched in November after Mahindra failed to sell a single unit post March 2022. Mahindra claimed in 2021 it had no plans of discontinuing the model and it still listed on the official website, whereas the Alturas G4 has been delisted.

November 2022 - Mahindra Car Sales Figures - MoM Change
- All cars from Mahindra’s catalogue saw their MoM sales drop except Thar, which saw a growth of 8.7%
- Amongst the mass-market Mahindra cars, the Scorpio cars saw the biggest decline of 13.22%, followed by the Bolero with a decline of 9%
