Range Rover Sport SVR, SVAutobiography facelifts bookings open

Jaguar Land Rover India has begun taking bookings of the 2018 Range Rover SVAutobiography and Range Rover Sport SVR in India. Both these vehicles have received upgrades from the Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) team, and have hence been given upgrades in terms of performance and features. In terms of pricing, the Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic is priced at Rs. 2.79 crore (ex-showroom India).

The Range Rover Sport SVR is the fastest and most capable Land Rover SUV by the automaker. The 2018 model of the SUV gets an upgrade in the performance of the SVR in the form of an uprated 5.0 l V8 supercharged powertrain with 567 hp of maximum power and a 0-100 kmph time of just 4.5 seconds. The engineers at SVO also focused on controlling pitch under heavy acceleration and braking of the SUV. These changes have helped in better turn-in, mid-corner grip and body control of the 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR. In terms of cosmic highlights, the luxurious SUV offers a carbon fibre bonnet as standard with the option of an exposed one, a revised front bumper for enhanced cooling and braking and new lightweight SVR Performance seats.
Talking about the 2018 Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic, the SUV is available in Standard Wheelbase (of 2.92 m) Dynamic form with 416 kW. The Range Rover SVAutobiography Long Wheelbase (of 3.12 m) is offered with 250 kW and 416 kW options. The rear Executive Class-Comfort seating with a power deployable centre console with premium veneer finishers and a multitude of seating variations including 24-way ‘Hot-Stone’ massage seats in the front has been offered as standard. Other prominent features include Power Close rear doors, a concealed refrigerator, Pixel-Laser LED headlights with Signature DRLs, 4-zone climate control, illuminated door sills, mood lighting, special SVAutobiography pedals, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment with navigation, voice control, LCD instrument cluster and an 825 W Meridian surround sound system.
Apart from these, body-colored side vent graphics that are punctuated by Bright Chrome inserts, with Bright Chrome door handle surrounds and tailgate finisher are the other highlights on the 2018 Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic. A tuned chassis, steering, exhaust and suspension and sitting 8 mm lower than a standard Range Rover along with unique Graphite Atlas accents, distinctive Red Land Rover branded brake calipers and exclusive 21 inch wheels add to the premiumness of the SUV. However, a 22 inch wheel option is also available as choice for the customers.
;In terms of powertrain, the SUV will come powered by Land Rover's top-of-the-line 5.0-litre supercharged V8 that puts out 542 BHP and 680 Nm of peak torque. While the engine accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.4 seconds as claimed by Land Rover, the top speed is limited to 250 kmph. The engine comes with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and 4-wheel drive with Land Rover's Terrain Response 2, electronic air suspension, hill descent control, roll and trailer stability control, cornering brake control, etc.
Other than the Range Rover Sport and SVAutobiography, Land Rover also offers the Range Rover in SVAutobiography trim as a long wheelbase model and in SVR performance trim as well. Also available in Vogue, Vogue SE and Autobiography trim, the Range Rover can be availed with prices starting at Rs. 1.59 crore (ex-showroom, India). The India launch of the upcoming Range Rover models is all set to take place on 28th June this month.
