In this September 2023 Kia cars sales analysis, we’ll look at the car sales of Kia for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Kia model’s sales improved and which ones declined. Lastly, the table with monthly sales for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend of all Kia cars.
September 2023 - Kia Car Sales Figures - YoY Change
- No cars from Kia reported any growth in YoY comparison for the month of September
- The Seltos was the top-selling car for Kia with about 10,600 units dispatched in September 2023, losing 4.02% over the sales in September 2022
- The Sonet saw a 46.36% YoY decline in September 2023 compared to September 2022
- Kia’s Carens MPV also reported a drop of 17.26% in YoY comparison for the month of September
- Kia dispatched 150 units of the EV6 in the month of September 2023, as compared to 0 dispatches in September 2022
- Carnival premium MPV from the hasn’t been dispatched for the past months at all, hinting at a possible discontinuation of the model

September 2023 - Kia Car Sales Figures - MoM Change
- The Sonet SUV, which reported a 21% rise in dispatches in September over the previous month was the only gainer in mass-market cars.
- The EV6 also reported a big gain in numbers in September MoM comparison analysis
- Carens and Seltos reported decline in MoM comparison for the month of September, which was only marginal.
