Internationally, the BMW 8- Series Convertible is all set to go on sale in March 2019 and BMW has already begun the production of the 8- Series Convertible at its Dingolfing plant in Germany. The same plant manufactures other BMW cars such as the 3- Series, 4- Series, 5- Series, 6- Series and 7- Series. For the Indian market, the automaker is yet to confirm if the 8- Series Convertible will make its way or not, but we definitely expect the Gran Coupe version of the 8- Series to come to our shores. However, if the Convertible comes to our market, it will be by the second half of 2019 and it will be imported in India as a CBU. Hence, it might be priced around the Rs 2 crore in the country. When launched, the 8- Series Convertible will rival the Mercedes- Benz S- Class Cabriolet. Stay tuned to V3cars.com for further updates on the upcoming BMW 8- Series.;
