At the Auto Expo 2020, Skoda brought out the Vision IN, their upcoming compact SUV, and some of their other cars to the Expo.

Skoda showcased their Superb facelift and they also had the Sport variant on the floor. The Superb is going to get a new 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine with a new 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It makes 190PS of power and 320Nm of torque. The Superb was the only car on the floor, which is likely to get a BS6-ready diesel engine in the entire Skoda or Volkswagen brands. The 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine also makes 190PS of power but a higher 400Nm of torque and is exclusively available in the Sport variant. This engine also gets a new 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which can handle more than 250Nm of torque. The 2020 Skoda Superb facelift is expected to go on sale in the next few months.
Octavia vRS was another sedan at the Auto Expo 2020. It gets a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine with 245PS of power and 370Nm of torque paired with the newer 7-speed automatic transmission. The car’s ex-showroom price is Rs. 36.0 lakh and bookings will open at noon on March 1, 2020. There are only 200 units of the car and bookings will only happen online.
The upcoming 2020 Skoda Kodiaq L&K gets a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, which makes 190PS of power and 320Nm of torque. The Kodiaq Style was also available at the show and it had a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, which makes 150PS of power and 250Nm of torque. Both the engines come with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic but the smaller engine probably gets the older dry-clutch plates. These engines will replace the turbo diesel engine currently available.
The Skoda Rapid will also ditch its diesel engine in favour of a 1.0-litre turbo petrol motor, which makes 115PS of power and 200Nm of torque. This engine will come with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed automatic transmission. This car will go on sale in April 2020. Besides a red-hot Rapid, Skoda also showcased a sportier-looking Rapid with a matte grey one with red accents all over. This colour option could be launched as a factory option if there’s enough demand for it.
The star of the show, however, has to be the Vision IN concept. It will get a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine with 150PS of power and 250Nm of torque. The Vision IN is expected to go on sale early in 2021.
