Skoda have launched the updated Kushaq C-segment SUV in India that now comes with BS6 phase-2 emissions-compliant turbo petrol engines. Additionally, the mid Ambition variant of the Kushaq now comes with the option of the 1.5L turbo petrol engine.
2023 Skoda Kushaq Ambition 1.5L Turbo Variants Launched
Earlier, Skoda offered the 1.5L turbo petrol engine only with the top-spec Style variant. With the latest update for 2023, Skoda now offer the 1.5L turbo petrol engine in the mid Ambition variant as well, with both manual and dual-clutch automatic (DCT) transmission choices.

The Skoda Kushaq Ambition variant equipped with the 1.5L turbo petrol engine commands a substantial premium over the Ambition 1.0L turbo petrol variants. The price difference between the manual and automatic variants of the Kushaq 1.0L turbo petrol and 1.5L turbo petrol are nearly the same.

Skoda Kushaq Engines Now BS6-Phase 2 Complaint
Skoda offer the Kushaq with 2 engine options — 1.0L turbo petrol and 1.5L turbo petrol. Both engines of the Kushaq now comply with the BS6 phase-2 and road driving emission norms. Furthermore, both the engine options are also E20 fuel-ready. Skoda claim that the updated Kushaq now offers 7% better fuel efficiency than before.
