Czech carmaker Skoda has revealed the new Karoq Sportline variant recently. The new Skoda Karoq Sportline variant was revealed by the company alongside the Karoq Scout variant. The Sportline is the second new variant of the Karoq compact SUV and is aimed at offering the buyers with more choices. While the new Karoq Scout is a more off-road centric model that comes with AWD as standard, the Karoq Sportline on the other hand, focuses on a sportier performance and comes with AWD as an option.
The new Skoda Karoq Sportline also comes with more visually appealing stylish cosmetic upgrades rather than the rough and tough looks of the Karoq Scout variant. The Sportline variant’s blazing red body colour scheme also makes it more attractive and marks it apart from the standard range and the Scout variant of the Karoq SUV. The sportier Karoq Sportline comes with a 2.0 litre TSI petrol mill option which is good to generate 187 bhp of max power, making the Sportline the most powerful petrol variant in entire Karoq range.
The Skoda Karoq Sportline also comes with a 1.5 litre TSI petrol mill option that has the capability to churn out a max power output of 148 bhp, and another 2.0 litre engines that pumps out a max power of 148 bhp. The Czech automaker will be offering a 6 speed manual transmission and a 7 speed DSG transmission options on the Karoq Sportline variants for the buyers to choose from.
When the exterior styling updates are concerned, the recently revealed new Skoda Karoq Sportline variant comes with a quite a handful of styling changes to ensure that the model appears to be a more attractive variant of the Karoq for the buyers. The new Sportline variant comes with more attractive sport bumpers along with exclusive 19 inch Vega alloy wheels finished in black to add to the variant’s sporty appeal, while there are also black colored roof-rails. The front fenders of the SUV variant flaunt the Sportline badging to announce its special abilities.
The new Skoda Karoq Sportline SUV offers a few sporty additions on the inside as well. The cabin of the Karoq Sportline variant flaunts black sport seats that come with sporty contrast silver stitching. The seats upholstery is also specially made with three-ply air-permeable Thermoflux fabric. The Sportline variant also gets a leather wrapped steering wheel, while there is also an LED package to add to the overall sporty look and feel which comes along with stainless steel parts like steel pedals. The new Karoq Sportline variant of the compact SUV also gets endowed with features like a virtual cockpit option, Skoda Connect online services along with online infotainment and wireless charging. The new variant also comes with the feature which allows the drive dynamics to be changed through the car’s driving mode selector. The Skoda Karoq Sportline variant also comes endowed with electronic stability control system which has two settings as well.
The Skoda Karoq Sportline variant will have its official public debut at the upcoming 2018 Paris Motor Show in October alongside the Scout variant.
