Skoda Auto India unveiled the 2026 Slavia facelift on Tuesday evening, August 18. Bookings for the Slavia facelift are now open and deliveries will commence at the start of the festive season. Skoda are yet to reveal the Slavia’s variant-wise prices or even its starting introductory price.

Apart from an updated exterior, the Slavia facelift gets several interior upgrades and feature enhancements as well. Additionally, the Slavia 1.0L turbo petrol automatic variants have ditched the 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission in favour of an 8-speed unit, which was first introduced in the Kushaq facelift earlier this year.
In this article, we take a look at the 2026 Slavia’s design changes, top features, powertrain specifications, colour options as well as the booking details and delivery timeline.
As expected, the exterior design changes are relatively restrained, which should appeal to existing Slavia buyers who like the current sedan’s understated design. Skoda have given their most affordable sedan a design refresh rather than attempting to give it an entirely new identity.

Up front, the Slavia facelift gets a redesigned headlamp housing featuring LED projectors and a revised lighting signature for the daytime running lamps (DRLs). The revised grille gets chrome accents in the top variants and an all-black finish in the Slavia Monte Carlo. The LED fog lamps are smaller than before and sit on either end of the revised front bumper.
Around the side, the base Classic variant gets 15-inch steel wheels with covers, while all other variants get 16-inch alloy wheels. The Classic Plus and Signature get Lynx and Radim alloy wheels, respectively. The Sportline continues with black Ving alloy wheels. The Prestige and Monte Carlo get the new Savio alloy wheel design in dual-tone and black finishes, respectively. The Monte Carlo also gets red brake calipers.

At the rear, the changes are minimal. The only update here is the revised LED tail lamp design with a new lighting signature and sequential turn indicators.
The Slavia Monte Carlo variants also offer sporty red stripes on the front grille along with ‘Monte Carlo’ badges on the front fenders and boot door.

On the inside, the 2026 Slavia offers several meaningful upgrades over the outgoing model. Take a look at the list of key features introduced in the Slavia facelift:

Unlike the outgoing model, all variants of the Slavia facelift now offer auto AC. All but the base Classic variant get a single-pane sunroof. A full-colour LCD instrument cluster is now offered from the Signature variant onwards. The Signature and Sportline get an 8-inch display that was earlier reserved for the Prestige and Monte Carlo variants. Meanwhile, the Prestige and Monte Carlo get a larger 10.24-inch display.

The biggest change for buyers here is the introduction of the 8-speed automatic transmission for the smaller turbo petrol engine. The Slavia facelift continues with the same 1.0L and 1.5L turbo petrol engines as before:
The Slavia 1.0L turbo petrol produces 116PS of power and 178Nm of peak torque, while the larger 1.5L turbo petrol produces 150PS and 250Nm. The latter is only offered with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The move to an 8-speed torque converter could make the 1.0L Slavia automatic more attractive to buyers who prioritise smoothness and highway efficiency over outright performance.

Skoda have introduced 2 new colours for the 2026 Slavia - Light Blue (Arctic Silver) and Beige (Cappuccino Beige). Deliveries of the Cappuccino Beige option will begin in December 2026. In July, Skoda began offering the Green (Shimla Green) and Grey (Steel Grey) colour options with the Monte Carlo. These colours are now available with the Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo variants of the Slavia facelift.
