2025 Tata Altroz Scores 5-Star Bharat NCAP Rating – India’s Safest Hatchback With Multiple Engine Options | V3Cars

The 2025 Tata Altroz has once again set a new benchmark for safety in the B2 hatchback segment. The updated model was awarded a 5-star safety rating by Bharat NCAP (B-NCAP), making it India’s safest hatchback with multiple engine options.

With an adult occupant protection score of 29.65/32 and a child occupant protection score of 44.9/49, the Altroz scored a full 5-star rating. This puts it ahead of rivals like the Maruti Baleno, which recently managed a 4-star rating under the same protocol. Interestingly, this is not the first time the Altroz has aced crash tests. Back in 2020, the pre-facelift version became the first premium hatchback to bag a 5-star Global NCAP score.
