The Altroz Turbo will be powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged engine. In the Nexon, this engine makes 120PS of power and 170Nm of peak torque. The standard Altroz, for reference, gets a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine that makes 86PS and 113Nm mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
As per the RTO document, the Alltroz Turbo will be offered in four variants: XT, XT(O), XZ and XZ(O), which is 3 variants (XE, XM and XM+) less than what the standard Altroz gets. In terms of features, the Altroz Turbo will be similar to the standard car. It will get dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat anchors, projector headlamps, semi-digital instrument cluster with a 7-inch display, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto AC with rear AC vents, multiple driving modes, height adjustabllle driver’s seat, cruise control and push-button start.
