Tata Harrier, Safari Receive Safer Choice Award From Global NCAP | V3Cars
Tata Motors have received the prestigious Global NCAP Safer Choice Award for their flagship SUVs, the Tata Safari and Harrier. This accolade recognises Tata Motors’ unwavering commitment to vehicle safety and their efforts to provide the highest level of protection to occupants in Indian-market vehicles.

Tata Harrier And Safari’s Latest Achievement At A Glance
The Tata Safari and Harrier have consistently demonstrated exceptional safety performance, having achieved a 5-star Global NCAP rating for both adult and child occupant protection in the past. These SUVs have also met the stringent requirements for Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), speed assistance, and Blind Spot Detection (BSD) systems, further solidifying their position as leaders in safety.
Global NCAP, a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting road safety worldwide, launched the Safer Choice Award in 2018 to encourage automakers to adopt the highest safety standards. To qualify for the award, a car must meet several criteria, including a 5-star rating for adult and child occupant protection, a speed assistance system, AEB and BSD systems, and adherence to UN regulatory performance requirements.
