Tata Nexon EV Achieves 50,000 Unit Sales Milestone | V3Cars
The Tata Nexon has achieved its 50,000 unit sales milestone, cementing its position as the best-selling EV in the country. Read on to know more about the Tata Nexon EV.

Tata Nexon EV Completes 50,000 Sales
Launched in January 2020, the Nexon EV quickly became the best-selling electric vehicle in the country. In the years after the Nexon EV’s launch, Tata introduced new variants like Nexon EV Dark and Nexon EV Max. While the Nexon EV Dark offered cosmetic changes, the Nexon EV Max offered a bigger battery pack that helped it offer more range than the standard Nexon EV, thereby reducing range anxiety among prospective customers.

While announcing the latest achievement, Tata Motors revealed that the Nexon EV is currently on sale in 500 cities across India. On average, Nexon EV owners drive close to 6.3 million km every month. Nexon EV owners also get to take advantage of Tata’s charging infrastructure, which currently offers over 6,000 charging stations.
Commenting on this milestone, Mr. Vivek Srivatsa, Head, Marketing, Sales and Service Strategy, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said, “The Nexon EV was introduced as India’s own electric SUV with the aim of offering a cool, stylish, practical and real-world solution for faster EV adoption in India. The Nexon EV customers have grown to 50K in just 3 years. This is a testament to how India has embraced EVs as the mobility of the current times. We would like to thank the early adopters, who believed in the promise of the Nexon EV and in-turn allowed the EV ecosystem to build and become what it is now. We hope more people experience the promise of an EV and evolve to electric.”

Along with the Dark Edition package, it also offers the new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with updated features and user interface. The Nexon EV Max is currently the only variant in the entire Nexon lineup to offer the new infotainment system.
