Considering Tata’s production process, this should give you some idea of how long you may have to wait to take delivery of the Nexon. While these are primarily applicable for the northern region, the Nexon waiting period mentioned here should more or less align for the rest of the country as well.

At 3 - 4 weeks, the Nexon petrol-manual commands the shortest waiting period of all Nexon variants and powertrain combinations. The Nexon petrol-AMT variants have a lower waiting period than the Nexon petrol-DCT in April 2024. The Nexon diesel variants command an average waiting period of 4 - 6 weeks.

The Tata Nexon is priced between Rs. 8.15 lakh to Rs. 15.60 lakh (ex-showroom). It gets 2 engine options – a 1.2L trubo petrol and 1.5L diesel. The turbo petrol engine is offered with 4 transmission options – a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed AMT, and a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission. The diesel engine is offered with 2 transmission options – a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AMT 

The Nexon rivals the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kicks, among other B2-segment SUVs.
