2025 Tata Punch Facelift Updated Interior Spied Ahead Of Launch | V3Cars
The Tata Punch, which is set to receive an update soon, was spotted testing recently, giving us a sneak peek at its upcoming facelift. Just after refreshing the Altroz, Tata Motors are now preparing a mid-life update for one of their best-selling models. Let’s take a look at what you can expect from the Punch facelift ahead of its launch.

2025 Tata Punch Facelift To Offer A Modern Interior
The biggest changes for the Tata Punch facelift are expected inside the cabin. Based on the spy shots, we can confirm drivers will be greeted by a new 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, similar to what’s seen in newer Tata models. Another significant upgrade is the 7-inch TFT instrument cluster, which will provide a more modern and digital display for driving information.
Other interior features, such as the 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging pad, fabric seat upholstery, front centre armrest, and the overall dashboard design look similar to the current model.
2025 Tata Punch Facelift – Subtle Exterior Tweaks Expected
While the Punch facelift test mule was heavily covered, the images suggest that the small SUV will not borrow design cues from its electric sibling, the Punch EV. At a press interaction in 2024,
Mr. Shailesh Chandra, the MD of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd, stated that the Punch facelift will feature a distinct design over the Punch EV.
“Starting from the Punch EV, which is based on the pure EV architecture Acti.ev, our aim is to differentiate the ICE and EVs. Therefore, you will continue to see a differentiated look and feature set in an EV versus ICE. So when we come with a facelift for ICE, which is in the middle of 2025 or slightly later, it will come with a differentiated look with a different set of features as compared to the Punch EV.”
Thus, the Punch facelift is expected to get minor revisions only. It is unlikely to offer connected LED headlamps or taillamps like the recently-launched Altroz facelift. However, one can expect a new set of alloy wheels to freshen up the design.
2025 Tata Punch To Retain Current Engine Options
Under the bonnet, the Tata Punch facelift is expected to carry forward its current engine options without major changes. It will continue to be powered by the 1.2L normal petrol engine, which produces 88PS of power and 113Nm of torque. The petrol engine will be available with a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT option. Tata will also offer the Punch facelift with a 1.2LCNG bi-fuel option with the twin-CNG cylinder technology. This powertrain produces 74PS of power and 103Nm of torque.
2025 Tata Punch Facelift Expected Launch And Price
Tata Motors have not officially announced the launch date for the Punch facelift. However, considering other major launches like the Harrier EV (June 3) and the Sierra SUV (expected by year-end), the Punch facelift is likely to arrive in between these, possibly to boost sales.
Regarding pricing, we expect the Punch facelift to command a slight premium of Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 1 lakh, depending on the variant. Currently, the Tata Punch is priced from Rs. 6 lakh to Rs. 10.32 lakh (ex-showroom).
