Tata Tiago EV Gets New Features – Prices Unchanged | V3Cars

Tata Motors have silently updated the feature list of the 2024 Tiago EV. However, the prices for Tata’s most affordable electric car remain unchanged. The new feature additions for the Tiago EV are aimed at improving comfort and convenience.

Tata Tiago EV New Features Listed

As part of the updates for 2024, the Tiago EV XZ+ Lux long range variant now comes with an auto-dimming inside rearview mirror (IRVM). An auto-dimming IRVM helps cut down glare from headlights of cars behind you.

Additionally, the Tiago EV XZ+ and XZ+ Lux long range variants also get a 45W Type-C USB port for charging smartphones. All XZ+ variants also get automatic climate control with a pollen filter and auto-folding outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs). Other changes include the removal of the dual-tone black roof option from all variants.

The Tiago EV is available in 5 variants – XE medium range, XT medium range, XT long range, XZ Plus long range, XZ Plus Lux long range. Their prices are as follows.

The Tata Tiago EV is available in 7 variants with prices ranging from Rs. 8.0 lakh to Rs. 11.90 lakh (ex-showroom). While all variants get a 3.3kW AC charger as standard, the XZ+ and XZ+ Lux variants get an optional 7.2kW AC charger for a premium of Rs. 50,000.

The Tata Tiago EV gets 2 battery pack options – 19.2kWh and 24kWh. The Tiago EV medium range with the 19.2kWh battery pack produces 61PS of power and 105Nm of torque and offers a claimed range of 250km. The Tiago EV long range gets the larger of the 2 battery pack options and produces 75PS of power and 114Nm of torque and offers a claimed range of 315km. The Tiago EV rivals the MG Comet EV in the Indian EV segment.
