Official: Kia To Increase Prices From April 1 | V3Cars

Kia India have confirmed all their mass market models will receive a price hike of up to 3%. The price hike on Kia models like the Sonet, Seltos and Carens is attributed to rising input costs.

The statement reads:

“At Kia, we consistently strive to deliver premium and technologically advanced products to our esteemed customers. However, due to the continuous increase in commodity prices, adverse exchange rate and rising input cost, we are compelled to implement a partial price hike. The company is absorbing a significant portion of the increase, allowing customers to continue driving their favourite Kia cars without a major dent in their pockets".

Previously, Kia hiked prices of the Sonet, Seltos and Carens in October 2023.

Kia India currently offer 4 cars in India. The most affordable Kia in India currently is the Sonet B2-SUV, which is priced from Rs. 8.0 lakh to Rs. 15.70 lakh. The Seltos C-segment SUV is priced between Rs. 10.90 lakh to Rs. 20.30 lakh, while the Carens MPV is priced from Rs. 10.45 lakh to Rs. 19.44 lakh. Kia’s only electric car in India – the EV6 – is priced from Rs. 60.95 lakh to Rs. 65.95 lakh (ex-showroom).
