With the addition of new features, Tata has also increased the price of both models. The Tiago JTP, which was earlier priced at Rs 6.39 lakh now costs Rs 6.69 lakh. The Tigor JTP now costs Rs 10,000 more than before. It is priced at Rs 7.59 lakh, up from Rs 7.49 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).

While the Rs 10,000 increase in the price of the Tigor JTP appears to be more than justified for the additional features, we would have liked if the price increase on the Tiago JTP was around Rs 20,000 for the additional equipment that it gets.

The Tigor JTP and Tiago JTP are powered by a 1.2-litre, turbocharged petrol engine with an output of 114PS. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The regular Tigor and Tiago are powered by 12-litre petrol engine (non turbocharged) that develops 85PS of maximum power. In the regular version, Tata also offers the option of AMT with both the cars.
Both the JTP cars are available only in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calicut, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Kangra, Kannur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Noida, Pune, Thane and Thrissur.
