Toyota India have quietly updated the brochure of the upcoming Urban Cruiser Ebella electric SUV revising one of its performance specifications. As per the latest brochure, the Ebella now produces 193Nm of torque, replacing the earlier stated figure of 189Nm.
The update brings the Urban Cruiser Ebella’s torque output in line with the upcoming Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, on which the Toyota electric SUV is based.

When Toyota unveiled the Urban Cruiser Ebella, its torque output stood at 189Nm for both battery pack options. The revised brochure now confirms a higher 193Nm torque output, while power figures remain unchanged. Here’s look at the updated electric motor and battery specification of the upcoming Toyota electric SUV:
The 193Nm torque output now matches that of the Maruti Suzuki EVitara. Most likely, this was a typo in the brochure, which is now corrected.

Apart from the revised torque figure, Toyota have not made any changes to the claimed range, features and safety equipment listed on the brochure. The Ebella offers features such as panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats and JBL audio system. In terms of safety, it offers ADAS, 7 airbags and 360-degree camera, among others. Bookings for the Ebella are currently open.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella is expected to cost between Rs. 18.0 lakh to Rs. 22.0 lakh (ex-showroom).
When launched, the Toyota Ebella will rival other electric SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta Electric, Maruti Evitara, MG Windsor EV, ZS EV, Mahindra BE 6, Vinfast VF6 and the upcoming Tata Sierra EV
