Upcoming Cars In April 2025 - Maruti e Vitara, VW Tiguan R-Line, MG Cyberster And More | V3Cars
Here’s a list of all upcoming cars in April 2025. Our list includes the likes of the 2025 Maruti Suzuki e Vitara electric SUV, Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line, MG Cyberster electric sportscar and MG M9 electric MPV, among others.

1. Maruti Suzuki e Vitara
The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, which was showcased at the 2025 Auto Expo, has started arriving at dealerships across the country. The homegrown carmaker is expected to launch their first electric car in the first half of April 2025. We expect the 2025 e Vitara to cost between Rs. 18 lakh and Rs. 22 lakh (ex-showroom).
Powering the 2025 e Vitara is a choice of 2 battery pack sizes. A 49kWh battery will be offered for front-wheel-drive models, while a larger 61kWh battery will be available for both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. This flexibility allows customers to choose the powertrain that best suits their needs and driving style.
The e Vitara equipped with the 49kWh battery pack produces 144PS of power, while the 61kWh battery and FWD produce 174PS of power. Both versions produce a maximum torque of 189Nm. The e Vitara AWD gets 2 electric motors producing a combined power output of 184PS and maximum torque of 300Nm.

2. VW Tiguan R-Line
Volkswagen India are currently accepting bookings for the 2025 Tiguan R-Line ahead of its launch on April 14. The new Tiguan R-Line offers a sportier design and updated features over the standard SUV. We expect Volkswagen to reveal the ex-showroom price of the Tiguan R-Line at the launch event on April 14. Considering the 2025 Tiguan R-Line is coming to India via the CBU route, we expect it to cost around the Rs. 50 lakh (ex-showroom) mark, making it Rs. 15 lakh more expensive than the standard Tiguan.
VW India have confirmed that the Tiguan R-Line will launch with the brand’s 2.0L turbo petrol engine. While the standard Tiguan produced 190PS of power and 320Nm of torque, the new Tiguan R-Line puts out 204PS while the torque output remains unchanged.
