The Baleno RS will also flaunt all-black interiors, new leather seats. The actual attraction of this version is the 1.0 liter BoosterJet petrol engine generating 100.5 BHP and 150 Nm and is paired to a 5 speed manual transmission. It is expected to be tagged at around Rs. 8.5 lakhs.
All new 2017 Swift
The very popular Swift is expected to come in its all new avatar in India in 2017. The car gets a new design language and new more premium interiors. The next generation Swift will continue with the same 1.2L petrol offering 84 BHP and 114 Nm and 1.3L diesel delivering 74 BHP and 190 Nm. The Swift Sport version is also expected in India, which could be equipped with the same 1.0L BoosterJet mill as the Baleno RS. The next-gen Swift is likely to hit India by October 2017 with an expected price range of around Rs. 5 lakhs to Rs. 8 lakhs.
All new 2017 Swift Dzire
Like its hatchback sibling Swift, the Swift Dzire compact sedan will also come in its next generation model. It will share its basic design, the new ‘HEARTECT’ platform and the engine choices with the next-gen Swift. The all new Dzire is expected to launch earlier than the Swift hatchback and is expected to launch in India by April 2017 with probable price range of around Rs. 5.5 lakhs to Rs. 9 lakhs.
As all its market rivals are getting updated, the Ciaz mid-sized sedan too will get a refresh. The new Ciaz facelift will get mild cosmetic updates and new added features. However, it might also get a new 1.6L diesel mill offering 118 BHP and 320 Nm coupled with a 6 speed manual transmission. It is expected to get slightly dearer and is likely to launch by June 2017.
Vitara Brezza Petrol
The Vitara Brezza continues to be a humongous success and the bestselling SUV in India with more than 2 lakh bookings. The SUV is currently an all diesel model, but its Petrol avatar equipped with a 1.0L BoosterJet petrol mill is on its way. It will get equipped with a 5 speed manual transmission and likely to launch by June 2017. The Brezza petrol is expected to have a price range of around Rs. 6.5 lakhs to Rs. 9.5 lakhs.
The new Suzuki S-Cross facelift recently launched in the European markets and is expected to launch in India by early 2018. The new S-Cross flaunts sportier new exterior design and more premium interiors and has a more SUV-ish appeal. It will continue with the same 1.3L and 1.6L diesel engines in India, while a new petrol engine is also expected. It is likely to be priced from Rs. 8.5 lakhs to Rs. 13 lakhs.
