In this article, we take a look at the top 5 highlights of the 2026 VF MPV 7:

1. VF MPV 7 Offers A Range Of 517km

Equipped with a 60.13kWh battery pack, the new VF MPV 7 offers an ARAI-certified range of 517km per charge. The front axle-mounted electric motor in the VF MPV 7 produces 204PS of power and 280Nm of torque. VinFast claim the battery pack can be charged from 10-70% in just 30 minutes using an 80kW DC fast charger. The VF MPV 7 is capable of sprinting from 0-100kmph in under 9 seconds.

The VF MPV 7 can be considered as a rival to the Mahindra XEV 9S Pack Two Above 70 variant, which comes equipped with a larger 70kWh battery pack. Priced at Rs. 24.45 lakh (ex-showroom), this variant of the XEV 9S produces 245PS of power and 380Nm of torque. The 7-seater Mahindra EV offers an ARAI-claimed range of 600km.

In terms of pricing, the 2026 Kia Carens Clavis EV’s 51.4kWh variants too fall in the same ballpark as the VF MPV 7. However, it offers a smaller 51.4kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 490km. The Kia MPV produces 171PS of power and 255Nm of torque.

The VF MPV 7 offers the following top features:

The VF MPV 7 misses out on features such as a dedicated instrument cluster or head-up display, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats and rear window sunshades.

In terms of safety, VinFast have equipped with the VF MPV 7 with:

3. Impressive Road Presence

The 2026 VF MPV 7 measures 4740mm in length, 1872mm in width, 1734mm in height and boasts a long wheelbase of 2840mm. In comparison, the XEV 9S is 6mm shorter, 28mm wider and 13mm taller. The XEV 9S has a 78mm shorter wheelbase. Thus both, electric 7-seater vehicles offer similar road presence. The Kia Carens Clavis EV is smaller in every dimension.

However, the Toyota Innova Hycross hybrid, which is priced above the VF MPV 7 is even bigger with a length of 4755mm, width of 1850mm, height of 1795mm and a wheelbase measuring 2850mm. 

In terms of boot space, VinFast claim the VF MPV 7 offers 126 litres of boot space with all 3 rows up and expandable up to 1240 litres with the 2nd and 3rd row folded down.

4. VinFast VF MPV 7 Colour Options

VinFast are offering the 2026 VF MPV 7 in 6 colours:

• Blue
• Red
• Brown
• Grey
• White
• Black

5. Free Charging And Other Benefits

VinFast are offering the VF MPV 7 with several benefits, including free charging at their V-Green EV charging stations until March 31, 2029. VinFast are also offering an exchange bonus of Rs. 2 lakh for customers trading in their internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle for the VF MPV 7. 

Additionally, the company is assuring a 75% buyback value, calculated based on the vehicle’s original ex-showroom price. The package also includes 3 years of labour-free maintenance, a 7-year vehicle warranty, 7-year paint warranty, 7-year roadside assistance (RSA), 5-year suspension warranty and a 10-year warranty for the battery.

VinFast VF 7 Booking Details

Bookings for the 2026 VF MPV 7 are currently open for a token amount of Rs. 21,000. VinFast are yet to reveal the full variant-wise prices of the VF MPV 7 and the delivery timelines for the electric MPV. We will update this article as soon as we get more information.
