    Year End Discounts By Toyota

    Japanese automaker Toyota Kirloskar Motors is offering year- end discounts on its product range through the month of December 2018. Toyota is offering the discounts till 31st December 2018 under its ‘Remember December’ scheme and is available at all company dealerships so as to clear inventory of its older models. This is the third consecutive year for Toyota offering the year end discounts under the same scheme. Recently, Toyota had announced price hike of up to 4 per cent effective from January 1st, 2019.

    Toyota Fortuner- Toyota is offering a discount / benefits of up to Rs 1.25 lakhs on the Fortuner SUV. The Toyota Fortuner is available with both petrol and diesel engine options with prices ranging from Rs 27.27 lakh to Rs 32.97 lakh (ex- showroom, Delhi). The Toyota Fortuner is a premium seven- seater SUV loaded with features like LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs, LED fog lamp and power adjustable and foldable ORVMs. Inside the cabin too, the Fortuner is well equipped and offers features such as power-adjustable driver seat, automatic climate control, push-button stop/start and cruise control. The Toyota Fortuner gets seven airbags, hill assist control, vehicle stability control with brake assist and ABS with EBD. The SUV comes powered by a 2.8 liter diesel engine and 2.7 liter petrol engine mated to a 5 speed manual or 6 speed automatic transmission sending power to rear wheels.

    Toyota Yaris- The discount and benefits of up to Rs 1.1 lakhs has been offered by the manufacturer on the newly launched Yaris sedan in the country. The sedan comes at a starting price tag of Rs 9.29 lakh which goes till Rs 14.07 lakh (ex- showroom, India). It is available in a choice of four variants- J, G, V and the VX. The Yaris offers seven airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, disc brakes on all four wheels and ISOFIX child seat anchors as standard along with projector headlamps, daytime running LEDs, a 7- inch infotainment system, tail lamps with LED graphics, auto climate control with roof- mounted rear AC vents and a powered driver’s seat. Powered by only the a 1.5- litre petrol engine mated to a 6-speed manual or a CVT auto, the car rivals the Honda City, Hyundai Verna and the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift. Other competitors include the Volkswagen Vento and the Skoda Rapid in the segment.

    Toyota Innova Crysta- Toyota is offering the discounts of up to Rs 1 lakh on the Innova Crysta. Available in three variants- G,V and Z, the prices for the Toyota Innova Crysta start from Rs 14.65 lakh and goes up to Rs 22.01 lakh (ex- showroom, Delhi). Being a premium MPV, it comes loaded with features like automatic climate control, 8-way power-adjustable driver seat, touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth and navigation, cruise control and rear parking camera (display on infotainment screen) with sensors among others. On the other hand, Innova Crysta gets three airbags (dual front and knee) ABS with EBD and BA as standard across the range as safety features. However, the top of the line Z variant gets 7 airbags, vehicle stability control and hill start assist in addition to the standard equipment. The Innova Crysta goes up against SUVs such as the Tata Hexa, Mahindra XUV 500 and the upcoming Mahindra Marazzo.


    Toyota Etios- The sedan by Toyota has been offered with Rs 1 lakh discount. The Etios range includes the Etios Liva and Etios Cross, both of which are powered by petrol and diesel engine options mated to a 5 speed manual transmission as standard. Toyota has updated the Etios sedan and it's now christened, ‘Platinum Etios’ with plenty of cosmetic changes. The additional features in the Platinum Etios include digital tachometer and electronically foldable ORVMs, among others. In terms of safety, apart from the standard dual- front airbags, the Platinum Etios now comes with ABS and ISOFIX child- seat mount as standard across variants.

    Toyota Corolla Altis- Toyota is offering up to Rs 75,000 discounts on the Corolla Altis. The carmaker facelifted the Corolla Altis in March 2017 and gets a host of new features, tweaked exterior looks and a shorter variant list than its predecessor. The car comes powered by a 1.8 liter petrol engine offering 140 hp power and a 1.4 liter diesel capable of 88hp peak power. The Corolla Altis sedan competes with the Skoda Octavia and Hyundai Elantra.
