Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) today announced a significant milestone for its iconic mid-size SUV, Hyundai CRETA, which has recorded its highest-ever annual sales of 2 lakh units in a single calendar year. This milestone translates to an impressive average of 550 CRETAs being sold every day, reaffirming the model’s undisputed leadership and enduring popularity in the Indian automotive market. Marking a decade of dominance in the mid-size SUV segment, this milestone reflects the strong trust customers continue to bestow on the CRETA. Despite so many models launched in this segment, CRETA continues to lead, grow and define the category it helped create. This year, the brand CRETA also completed 10 years of existence, recording a remarkable CAGR of over 9% between 2016 and 2025.

With a market share of over 34% in the mid-size SUV segment, Hyundai CRETA stands way above the rest as a household name across the country.
