Here’s what Kia has to say about the upgraded CPO program:

Reinforcing its commitment to enhancing customer ownership experience and peace of mind, Kia India, announced two major warranty upgrades to its Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program – for Kia and other brand vehicles.

Strengthening the customer trust and ownership confidence, Kia India has extended the Certification age limit of Pre-Owned Kia models from 5 years to 7 years, supported by Kia warranty up to 24 months or 40,000 KMs whichever is earlier

In a strategic move to empower customers with greater flexibility, Kia India has also introduced warranty coverage of up to 12 months or 15,000 kms, whichever is earlier, for other brand vehicles, sold through its CPO Showrooms. The ‘Pre-Owned car certification program’ initiative – one of the best in industry, enables customers to choose from a wider range of pre-owned cars - regardless of brand - while still enjoying the confidence and peace of mind that comes with Kia’s certified standards.

Every pre-owned car sold under the Kia Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program undergoes a comprehensive 175-point inspection. Only vehicles that successfully meet this standard quality norms are certified and offered for sale through the CPO network. This rigorous evaluation ensures consistency, transparency, and long-term reliability for customers.

Kia India has one of the fastest-growing Certified Pre-Owned networks in India, with 114 outlets across the country. This initiative is aligned with the company’s vision of elevating the pre-owned ecosystem by enhancing trust, warranty coverage, and after-sales assurance.
