V3Cars reviews the new 2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift with the new 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and 6-speed manual transmission. In this video, Jagdev finds out how the turbo engine affects the Brezza’s performance, city drivability, refinement and fuel efficiency. We also analyse whether the more affordable Brezza Turbo is now a better choice than the Tata Nexon for budget-conscious SUV buyers.
The Brezza’s 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine produces 110PS of maximum power and 170Nm of peak torque. It is available with a 6-speed manual transmission. Compared to the Brezza’s existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, the turbo engine offers stronger low-end torque and feels more responsive during city driving.
In this review, we discuss the Brezza Turbo’s acceleration, clutch and gearbox, highway cruising ability, engine refinement and expected city mileage. We also share our impressions of its ride comfort, braking, manoeuvrability, driving visibility and blind-spot monitoring system.
The 2026 Brezza also gets a new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, multi-colour ambient lighting, revised AC controls, front parking sensors and minor exterior design changes. The 1.5-litre petrol and CNG engines now get a 6-speed manual transmission, while the CNG version receives an underbody-mounted cylinder for improved usable boot space.
The introductory ex-showroom prices of the 2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza start from Rs. 7.40 lakh.
