Maruti Suzuki 3-Row D2-Segment SUV Rivals

The upcoming 3-row SUV from Maruti Suzuki will rival the likes of the Mahindra XUV700 7-seat, MG Hector Plus and the Mahindra Scorpio-N. Its higher variants could be offered as a more affordable alternative to SUVs such as the MG Gloster and the Isuzu MU-X.

Maruti Nexa SUV Launch Timeline

Maruti have several new products lined up for 2023. Hence, it is hard to judge the exact timeline of the 3-row SUVs launch. However, we expect it to go on sale in the second quarter of 2023, after the launch of the crossover SUV based on the Baleno and before the launch of the Jimny 5-door SUV. Multiple test mules of Maruti Suzuki’s version of the Innova Hycross were spotted in November, so its launch can’t be that far ahead either.

Maruti Suzuki Innova Hycross-Based SUV Expected Price

Like in the case of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, the Maruti version of the Innova Hycross is likely to be priced at a small premium over the Toyota MPV. This price premium will not only apply to the strong hybrid variants but even the normal petrol variants since both engines are supplied by Toyota. Hence, we can expect the Maruti Suzuki Innova Hycross-based 3-row D2-segment SUV to go on sale at a price of Rs. 18.25 lakh to Rs. 29.50 lakh.
