MG India Begin New Hector And Hector Plus Deliveries

2023 MG Hector Facelift — Design

Both the Hector and Hector Plus come with an updated design that gives it an aggressive stance over the current Hector range. Up front, it gets a large chrome grille with diamond-mesh pattern. The grille is flanked by sleek LED DRLs. The new Hector also includes auto turn indicators, which is a segment-first feature. While there are no changes to the side profile, the new Hector gets a connected LED light bar for the taillights and large ‘Hector’ lettering spread across the boot lid. It is worth mentioning that there is no design differentiation between the Hector and Hector Plus this time around.

2023 MG Hector Facelift — Interiors

On the inside, the new Hector comes with an updated dashboard with a generous use of soft-touch materials. A large 14-inch touchscreen portrait-oriented infotainment system dominates and offers both wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

2023 MG Hector Facelift — Powertrain Details

The new Hector continues to come with the same powertrain options as before. Its 1.5L turbo petrol engine proudes 143PS of power at 5000rpm and 250Nm of torque between 1600rpm and 3600rpm. This engine comes with a choice of 6-speed manual or a CVT. The 2.0L turbo diesel engine produces 170PS of power at 3750rpm and 350Nm of torque between 1750rpm and 2550rpm. The diesel engine continues to come with a sole 6-speed manual transmission only.

2023 MG Hector Facelift — Launch Prices
