The Tata Altroz is a hatchback while the Citroen C3 is an SUV. The Altroz is 3990mm long, 1755mm wide and 1523mm tall. The Altroz’s wheelbase is 2501mm long. The C3 measures 3981mm long, 1733mm wide and 1604mm tall and has a wheelbase measuring 2540mm. In terms of dimensions, the Tata Altroz is slightly smaller than the Citroen C3. So, the C3 will offer a stronger road presence than the Altroz.
The Altroz has a ground clearance of 165mm while the C3 has a ground clearance of 180mm. The 345-litre boot space of the Altroz is 30 litres larger than that of the C3.

The Tata Altroz is available with 2 petrol engines – a 1.2L normal petrol and a 1.2L turbo petrol engine. The 1.2L normal petrol gets a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed DCT automatic transmission, while the 1.2L turbo petrol is available with a 5-speed manual transmission only.
The 1.2L normal petrol engine of the Altroz makes 86PS of power at 6000rpm and 113Nm of torque at 3300rpm. The 1.2L turbo petrol engine in the Tata Altroz pushes out 110PS of power at 5500rpm and 140Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 5500rpm.
The Citroen C3 is only available with a 1.2L normal petrol engine and a 1.2L turbo petrol engine. Both these engine options are available with a 5-speed manual transmission.
The C3’s 1.2L normal petrol engine makes 82PS of power at 5750rpm and 115Nm of torque at 3750rpm. The 1.2L turbo petrol engine makes 110PS of power at 5500rpm and a peak torque of 190Nm at 1750rpm.
