Tata launched the Nexon Camo days after the 2026 Maruti Brezza went on sale. The Creative Camo and Brezza ZXi are particularly close in terms of price, but their engines and features take different approaches. We compare their petrol-manual, automatic and CNG versions to identify which SUV suits you.

The following table compares the ex-showroom prices of the Tata Nexon Creative Camo and 2026 Maruti Arena Brezza ZXi:
The Nexon turbo petrol-MT costs Rs. 14,100 more than the Brezza ZXi single-tone but exactly as much as the ZXi dual-tone.
The Nexon DCT and CNG cost less than the comparable Brezza, while the AMT creates a lower automatic entry point.
The following table compares their dimensions and boot space:
The Nexon offers the larger conventional boot and more ground clearance. The Brezza retains the larger CNG boot.
The Brezza uses different petrol engines for its manual and automatic versions. The Nexon retains the same 1.2L turbo petrol engine with all 3 transmissions:
The Nexon produces 10PS more power than the Brezza turbo. Both engines make 170Nm, but the Nexon delivers its peak torque across a wider RPM range. The Brezza turbo counters with a 2.52kmpl higher claimed mileage figure.
Comparing the automatics, the Nexon produces 17PS and 31Nm more than the Brezza normal petrol. The Brezza claims 2.99kmpl and 3.16kmpl higher mileage than the Nexon AMT and DCT, respectively.
The Nexon AMT is the least expensive automatic in this comparison but has noticeable shift lag. The Nexon DCT better suits performance-focused buyers, while the Brezza's torque converter prioritises a smoother driving experience.
Both SUVs feature 6-speed manual transmissions and underfloor cylinder packaging for a usable boot space:
*Tata state the Nexon boot-space figures are approximate and may vary by trim. Maruti say the Brezza CNG offers full boot space; 328L is the Brezza’s listed boot capacity.
The Nexon combines a lower price with stronger performance and a larger cylinder capacity. The Brezza's 2.89kmpkg mileage advantage and 7L larger boot favour economy and luggage space.
The Creative Camo adds Munnar Mist (Green) or Coorg Cloud (Silver) paint, Camo fender badges and Camo inscriptions on the front headrests. Its functional additions include larger displays and integrated dashcam recording linked to the 360-degree parking-assist camera system.

The following table lists the most important feature differences between the Nexon Camo and the Brezza ZXi:
The Nexon has larger digital displays, more useful cameras and a unique dashcam recording package. Its front armrest and 360-degree camera carry over from the regular Creative trim. The Brezza counters with a single-pane sunroof, cooled wireless charging pad, telescopic steering column adjustment and a comfort-enhancing rear armrest.

The Brezza ZXi turbo petrol gets blind spot warning, safe exit warning and rear cross traffic alert, which are not offered with the Nexon Creative Camo. It also adds front parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring and auto headlamps. Both variants get a rear wiper and washer. Cruise control is also common to the petrol versions, although Tata do not offer it with the Nexon Creative Camo CNG.
The Nexon Creative Camo gets a camera-based blind view monitor, but this is not equivalent to the Brezza’s radar-based blind spot warning. It also misses the ADAS features offered with the higher Nexon Camo variants.
Both SUVs have 5-star Bharat New Car Assessment Programme ratings. The following table compares their scores:
The Brezza leads adult protection by 1 point; the Nexon leads child protection by 0.83 points. Both get 6 airbags and electronic stability control as standard.
The better choice depends on the powertrain. The Brezza has the stronger petrol-manual case, while the Nexon is our pick with the petrol-automatic and CNG powertrains.
The Brezza ZXi turbo costs Rs. 14,100 less than the Nexon Creative Camo. The Brezza ZXi dual-tone costs exactly as much as the Nexon.
The Brezza also claims better mileage and gets radar-based blind spot warning, safe exit warning and rear cross traffic alert. It additionally offers front parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring and auto headlamps. These advantages make it our petrol-manual pick and support its top-recommended verdict in our Brezza Variants Explained analysis.
Choose the Nexon instead if you value its 10PS higher power output, larger screens, 360-degree camera, integrated dashcam, front armrest and larger boot more than the Brezza’s mileage and additional safety features.
The Nexon Creative Camo DCT costs Rs. 25,900 less than the Brezza ZXi automatic. It also produces 17PS more power and 31Nm more torque while offering the larger displays and more useful camera package.
The Nexon AMT costs Rs. 50,000 less, but the DCT is the better match for its turbo petrol engine. Consider the AMT only if keeping the purchase price down matters more.
Choose the Brezza ZXi automatic if you prefer the smoothness of a 4-cylinder normal petrol engine and a torque converter transmission - the higher claimed mileage also improves its appeal. It also offers a sunroof, cooled wireless charger, tilt-and-telescopic steering column adjustment and a rear centre armrest.
The Nexon Creative Camo CNG costs Rs. 10,900 less than the Brezza ZXi CNG. It also produces 12PS more power and 48Nm more torque. Combined with its larger displays, 360-degree camera, integrated dashcam and front armrest, this makes the Nexon our overall CNG pick.
The Brezza ZXi CNG suits buyers who prioritise fuel efficiency and luggage capacity. It has a higher claimed mileage and offers a slightly larger boot than the Nexon CNG.
The Nexon Creative Camo is available with diesel-manual and diesel-AMT powertrains. The Brezza does not offer a diesel engine.
