Lately, several car manufacturers are offering their new cars with a dual-clutch automatic transmission or DCT. The latest mass-market car to get a DCT transmission is the Tata Altroz. While DCTs are now more polished and reliable than ever before, the earlier versions were notorious for failing in our conditions, causing owners to spend a hefty sum for repairs. Gradually, cars equipped with unreliable DCTs lost favour with customers before being pulled off the market altogether.

Ford have decided to exit the Indian market and stop the production of cars. However, the company will still import and sell iconic cars like the Mustang. Ford also have plans to bring next-generation vehicles like the Mustang Mach-E and more to maintain a global presence and brand recognition.

Ford has launched the SE variant of the EcoSport SUV. It is available with both petrol and diesel engines priced at Rs 10.49 lakh and 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), respectively. The SE is the sixth variant in EcoSport’s lineup including Ambiente, Trend, Titanium, Titanium+ (Petrol AT only) and S.

Ford has officially teased the EcoSport SE variant on its Instagram page. As the caption suggests, it will be a redesigned version of the top-spec S variant of the EcoSport SUV.

Ford recently updated the variant lineup of its three cars including the Figo, Aspire and the Freestyle. Now, it seems like the carmaker is planning to introduce a new variant of the EcoSport SUV as it was spotted recently. 

Ford has updated the variant lineup of EcoSport SUV. While it continues to come in five variants: Ambiente, Trend, Titanium, Titanium+ and S, the variant wise feature list has been updated for 2021.
