Mahindra have discontinued the KUV100 NXT crossover hatchback after 7 years of its market introduction. The Mahindra KUV100 went on sale in 2015 to rival other B1-segment hatchbacks, such as the Hyundai Grand i10 and Maruti Ignis, among others. Apart from a mild facelift, which led to the launch of the KUV100 NXT, and the discontinuation of the 1.2L diesel engine, the KUV100 did not receive any substantial update in the last couple of years.

Jeep have revealed the 2024 Wrangler SUV at the New York International Auto Show. Jeep’s hardcore off-roader gets a few design changes, new features and even new off-road equipment to take on the Ford Bronco.

Nissan have discontinued the Kicks after just 4 years of its market introduction. The Nissan Kicks went on sale in 2019 to rival other C-segment SUVs, such as the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, among others. Apart from a mild facelift and the introduction of a 1.3L turbo petrol engine, the Kicks did not receive any substantial update in the last couple of years.

While speaking with MoneyControl, Shailesh Chandra, MD of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, said that the Punch EV is “definitely one of” the cars in Tata’s tentative product pipeline. He said that “by 2024, (Tata) should be able to bring that vehicle”. It’s unclear if he meant to say that it’ll go on sale before the end of 2023 or by the end of 2024. But the Punch EV has a strong place among the cards Tata hold right now.

At the launch of the Venue facelift in 2022, Hyundai officials categorically denied the launch of Venue CNG for the “foreseeable future.” However, we have seen the Sonet CNG and Carens CNG testing on public roads multiple times. Kia also officially confirmed to journalists at the 2023 Auto Expo that they aren’t working on the Sonet CNG. However, the launch of the Brezza CNG gives it a strong likelihood that the Venue CNG and Sonet CNG could materialise in the future.
