Tesla Tease 2 New Electric Vehicles At Investor Day Event | V3Cars

During the investor day event, Tesla teased a couple of new-generation electric vehicles. Here’s what we know about these cars so far.

2 New Tesla EVs

1. Small Electric Car

One of them appears to be smaller than the current Model 3 and Y. So, this could end up becoming their mass-market vehicle to challenge entry-level electric vehicles.

Currently, Tesla are dealing with a heavy demand and their recent experiments with price cuts showed the potential for a demand spike. The market is very sensitive to price and even “small” price cuts brought in huge orders.

Tesla representatives, including Elon Musk, were confident there’s huge potential at lower price points but they are currently struggling to meet the demand. If they launch a new small car, then the demand will be so big that they can’t meet it and will end up disappointing many potential buyers.

2. Delivery Van

The second car under the wraps looks like a delivery van. For now, we can only speculate that Tesla see a huge potential in last-mile delivery vehicles where the massive Semi can’t travel. With a lot of room for growth in delivery services like Amazon and food delivery, Tesla could help delivery companies bring efficiencies in their operations with their electric vehicles.

It could also be reserved for a bigger game plan with their full self-driving software. Should Tesla figure out their self-driving game and bring that to their delivery vans, then it has the potential to cut down costs for delivery operations in an unimaginable scale.

Ola electric also intend to bring 6 new electric vehicles based on 2 platforms. Here are our estimations about upcoming Ola electric cars:
