The the variants with the automatic transmission also get the mild hybrid tech, which helps them achieve better fuel efficiency than the manual transmission variants. (Both mileage figures as per ARAI and claimed by Maruti Suzuki.)
Peak power and torque output remains the same, with or without the hybrid tech. The 1.5-litre petrol engine is tuned to produce 138Nm of peak torque at 4400rpm and 105PS of power at 6000rpm.
There’s only minor visual tweaks made to the Brezza facelift as it retains the frame and overall design of the outgoing Brezza diesel. The only notable feature addition is the inclusion of LED projector headlamps, which are available in all variants except the base LXI trim. This makes Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza the first car in the subcompact SUV space to offer LED headlamps.
