The Tata Nexon facelift retains the same 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine as before, which now revs higher than before. It now makes 10PS more power than before at 120PS, while the torque output remains the same at 170Nm between 1750 and 4000rpm. The engine is available with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT automatic transmission option. The 2020 Nexon offers the second-best power output in its class and is up there with the Hyundai Venue turbo.
The Nexon petrol XM variant is available with both manual and automatic transmission options.

Should You Buy The 2020 Tata Nexon Facelift Petrol XM?
The 2020 Nexon facelift XM petrol is not recommended, as it doesn’t add very significant features over the XE variant for its added premium. However, if you can’t stretch your budget above the XM variant, then you can go for it.
Nexon XMA costs Rs. 60,000 over the XM MT variant, and is the cheapest automatic variant in the Nexon’s line-up. Thus, if you wish to get the Nexon automatic and can’t stretch your budget further, then it is your only choice.
