2021 Tiago NRG Facelift Launch On August 4 | V3Cars

Tata has confirmed that it will launch 2021 facelifted Tiago NRG on 4 August 2021. The NRG moniker will make a comeback after more than a year as the pre-facelift Tiago NRG was discontinued in January 2020 with the introduction of the facelifted Tiago.

2021 Tiago NRG Facelift

Like the pre-facelift model, the updated Tiago NRG will also be similar to the standard Tiago facelift. However, it will get additional design elements like body cladding and faux skid plates at both ends. It will also get a blacked-out front grille, headlamps, ORVMs, B-pillar, roof, rear spoiler and a black trim element connecting the tail lamps. The standard Tiago also comes with an optional black roof which also gets black ORVMs.

On the inside, the Tiago NRG facelift is expected to look similar to the standard Tiago save for some small changes in the colour scheme and upholstery.

Tiago NRG

Under the hood, the Tiago NRG will get the same 1.2-litre petrol engine as the standard Tiago. It makes 86PS and 113Nm paired to a 5-speed MT and AMT.

In terms of features, the Tiago NRG is likely to be similar to the top-spec Tiago XZ+. As a result, expect it to get features like dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, 15-inch alloys, a 7-inch Harman touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, steering mounted controls, auto AC and height-adjustable drivers seat.

The Tiago NRG facelift is likely to be priced at a premium of around Rs 30,000 over the standard Tiago which retails from Rs 4.99 lakh to Rs 6.95 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Tiago NRG doesnt have any direct rivals but it can be seen as a more affordable alternative to the Ford Freestyle.
