Hyundai Venue is about to receive a mid-cycle facelift. Multiple spy shots of the test cars have surfaced and the new ones reveal the added changes on the exteriors. On the front, the Venue facelift gets a new grille with rectangular elements which are finished in dark chrome. We expect the rest of the front profile to remain as is, with high-mounted indicators and squared-off headlights with integrated DRLs. The big change lies on the back with T-shaped LED taillights.

The new taillights get rectangular LED elements that are lit up in a unique layout. The lower rear bumper also gets new reflectors. We can expect some minor changes in the bumpers, side skirts, and skid plates as well. In addition to that, the Venue facelift may also get a new design for the alloy wheels. On the inside, the changes could be significant. Hyundai could offer bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment and could also add drive and traction modes to the package.

On the powertrain front, we do not expect any major changes. It will continue to come with a 1.2L normal petrol engine with 83PS and 113Nm, a 1.0L turbo petrol with 120PS and 172Nm, and a 1.5L diesel with 100PS and 240Nm. However, we won’t be surprised if Hyundai add a diesel automatic option to the package. With the aforementioned changes, the pricing could also see a small revision. We expect Hyundai to launch the Venue facelift between July and December 2022.
