2022 Mahindra XUV300 Facelift Spotted — Launch Likely Soon | V3Cars

The Mahindra XUV300 is set to receive its first facelift since its launch in 2019. The XUV300 facelift is expected to get a revised front end along with new features and updated engine options. The XUV300 facelift was spied testing recently and here’s what it packs.

The spy shots of the XUV300 facelift suggest it will get a slightly revised front end. We can expect the XUV300 to feature Mahindra’s new twin peaks logo along with an updated grille and lower air dams. The spied car does not feature any changes to the rear profile. The only changes on the side are the updated allow wheels with the twin peaks logo. In addition to these changes, we expect the tailgate of the petrol variants to gain T-GDI badging for the new turbo-petrol engine. We can also expect Mahindra to offer new dual-tone colour options with the refreshed SUV.

2022 XUV300 Facelift Interior Update

On the inside, we can expect the new XUV300 facelift to offer a revised dashboard design. In addition to that, it could offer a new touchscreen infotainment system with Mahindra’s AdrenoX connected car tech. Mahindra could also offer new features like a digital instrument cluster and a wireless charger.

New Petrol Engine For XUV300 Facelift

On the powertrain front, the XUV300 facelift will get the new 1.2L turbo petrol engine that was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo. The new 1.2L turbo-petrol engine features direct fuel injection and cylinder heads with integrated exhaust manifolds. These changes should help the XUV300 facelift produce more power and torque. Mahindra claims the new petrol engine will help the XUV300 produce 130PS or power and 230Nm of torque, an increase of 20PS and 30Nm over the current turbo-petrol engine.  

XUV300 Facelift

The XUV300 facelift diesel variants will continue to be powered by the existing 1.5L turbo diesel engine. The turbo diesel engine produces 117PS of power and 300Nm of torque. Both engines will be offered with the option of a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automated manual transmission.

XUV300 Facelift Launch And Rivals

The 2023 Mahindra XUV300 facelift is expected to go on sale in the coming weeks. It will continue to rival other B2-segment SUVs, such as the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
