Meanwhile, bookings are open and Maruti Suzuki have reportedly received over 16,000 bookings so far. We expect Maruti Suzuki to price the 2022 Baleno from Rs. 6.30 lakh to Rs. 9.5 lakh (ex-showroom).

2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno gets a host of changes both inside and out. It gets a new and wider grille, flanked by slim LED headlights with boomerang-shaped LED DRLs. While the silhouette remains the same as before, the alloy wheels get a redesign. The 2022 Baleno also features split LED tail lights with tri-LED elements.

On the inside, the 2022 Baleno features a redesigned dashboard. Interior highlights include  a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree parking camera, a retractable head-up display, cruise control, rear AC vents, automatic headlights, telematics, keyless entry, and push-button start/stop.

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno will come with a 1.2L normal petrol engine. It produces 90PS of power and 113Nm of torque, mated with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT transmission. It will take on the likes of the Hyundai i20, Tata Altroz, and the Honda Jazz. It is worth noting that the Baleno will be the only hatchback in its segment to offer an AMT transmission. Both the i20 and Jazz get a CVT option whereas the Altroz is likely to receive a torque converter transmission soon.
