2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Fuel Efficiency, Engine Options & Variants Revealed | V3Cars

Mercedes-Benz revealed the India-bound C-Class on May 4, ahead of its launch on May 10. The new C-Class will be offered with three engine options – C200, C220d and the C300d. While both the C200 and C220d drivetrains will be offered with the Avantgarde trim, the C300d will be exclusively available with the AMG line.

All l three engine options of the 2022 C-Class come with a 48V mild-hybrid setup as standard. It assists the engine with 20PS of power and 200Nm of torque when needed and helps in boosting fuel efficiency. The 2022 C-Class is the first Mercedes-Benz to offer the 48V mild-hybrid tech with a diesel engine — making it the most fuel-efficient Mercedes on sale in the Indian market.
