Hyundai India recently launched the Exter in the Indian market and it serves as the entry level SUV in the brand’s portfolio. It shares its 1.2L normal petrol engine with the Grand i10 Nios hatchback, Aura sedan and Venue SUV. In this article, we share the yearly service cost of the Exter.

Hyundai Exter Yearly Service/Maintenance Cost

Since Hyundai have not updated the yearly service cost of the Exter on their portal, we have taken the costs of the Grand i10 Nios petrol since both cars share the same 1.2L normal petrol engine. We will update the article with the exact service costs of the Exter once they get listed on the portal.

As you can see in the table above, there are no labour charges for the first 3 services, which are at 2 months/1,500km, 1 year/10,000km and 2 year/20,000km. However, post the 2 year/20,000km service, the labour charges are fixed at Rs. 2,696 for the periodic maintenance. It is worth mentioning that the labour cost and parts cost are fixed for a certain set of parts while any additional work would incur additional costs and labour charges.

Hyundai do not offer the periodic maintenance cost for the CNG powertrain for any of their offerings. It remains to be seen whether Hyundai reveal the service cost for Exter CNG or not.
