On the outside, the new i20 facelift features a new radiator grille that looks similar to the grille offered in the Hyundai Verna sedan. The grille is flanked by a new set of reflector-based LED headlights incorporating a new inverted L-shaped LED DRL pattern. It also gets larger air curtains that come at an expense of fog lights. Other exterior design changes include a new front splitter with a silver lip, new 16-inch alloy wheels and a new silver faux skid plate for the rear bumper.

On the inside, the new i20 continues to offer the same dashboard layout, albeit with a few additions. Firstly, the touchscreen infotainment system now features physical shortcut keys and a volume knob. However, it continues to offer wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay while its rivals now offer wireless connectivity. Additionally, the new i20 also offers soft leatherette finish for the door armrests and new seat upholstery with i20 embossing. It is worth mentioning that with the facelift, Hyundai have removed the rear armrest from the i20.

The new i20 offers the same 1.2L normal petrol engine as before. It continues to produce 83PS of power (88PS with CVT) and 113Nm of torque and comes with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT. Hyundai have also added an idle start/stop feature to aid fuel efficiency and reduce emissions.
Hyundai offer the i20 in 6 single-tone and 2 dual-tone colour options:

The new i20 facelift continues to rival other premium hatchbacks like the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza, and Tata Altroz.
