2023 Hyundai Venue Launched With 116PS 1.5L Diesel Engine | V3Cars

Hyundai India have launched the MY2023 Venue B2-segment SUV with more standard safety features and updated engine options. The new Venue gets a 116PS 1.5L diesel engine from the Creta.

The Hyundai Venue now offers 4 airbags from its S(O) variant (3rd variant from base E) whereas the top-spec SX(O) variant continues to offer 6 airbags. Other safety features of the Venue include electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, hill hold control and tyre pressure monitoring system.

2023 Hyundai Venue Powertrain Update

The 2023 Venue diesel now borrows the more powerful diesel engine from the Creta. The 1.5L turbo diesel engine now produces 116PS of power at 4000rpm and 250Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 2750rpm. Furthermore, this engine now complies with upcoming BS6 phase 2 emission norms that also includes road driving emission (RDE) standards.

Apart from the diesel engine, the Venue continues with a 1.2L normal petrol engine and 1.0L turbo petrol engine. Both petrol engines of the 2023 Venue are E20 fuel-ready and also comply with upcoming emission standards. Additionally, all engine options of the new Venue now offer idle start/stop feature, which enhances fuel efficiency and also lowers emissions.

Hyundai have hiked the prices of the Venue normal petrol and turbo petrol by up to Rs. 25,000. The Venue diesel, on the other hand, doesn’t get any price revision. The price hike for the Venue normal petrol ranges from Rs. 6,000 to 15,000 whereas the Venue turbo petrol gets a Rs. 25,000 price hike for both iMT and dual-clutch transmission options.

    Hey are there any distinct ways we can verify difference between 2022 and 2023 Venue? Taking the delivery tomorrow so it’ll be an important point to establish the difference while doing PDI.
