Kia India launched the Seltos facelift on July 21, 2023 and deliveries of the C1-segment SUV have commenced. Kia have now revealed the fuel efficiency figures of the updated Seltos’ normal petrol, turbo petrol and turbo diesel engines. The 1.5L turbo diesel engine with the 6-speed ACMT is the most fuel efficient out of all the powertrains options available. Furthermore, despite producing more power and torque, Kia claim the 1.5L turbo petrol engine is more fuel efficient than the discontinued 1.35L turbo petrol engine. The 1.5L turbo DCT offers 17.9kmpl, which is more than the 1.35L turbo DCT’s fuel efficiency figure of 16.5kmpl.

The Kia Seltos facelift is currently the most powerful turbo petrol SUV in its segment. Its 1.5L turbo petrol engine produces 160PS of power and 253Nm of torque, which is more than that of the Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun’s 1.5L turbo petrol engine. It is worth mentioning that the Seltos turbo petrol and turbo diesel no longer offer the choice of a conventional manual transmission and are now only with a 6-speed auto-clutch manual transmission.
