Kia India launched the Seltos back in 2019 and since its launch, the Seltos has been the best-selling Kia model in the country. After a wait of close to 4 years, Kia are finally bringing the Seltos facelift to India with an updated design and new features, including the much-awaited panoramic sunroof. 2023 Kia Setlos Facelift Exterior Changes

Kia revealed the Seltos facelift for the South Korean market last year and we expect the India-spec model to feature the same set of changes. The Seltos facelift boasts a couple of design changes at the front and rear. Up front, it gets a larger grille with a new mesh pattern. The LED headlights get a revision and sit a little lower whereas the LED DRLs now find their way inside the grille rather than sitting atop the grille like in the current model.

Around the side, the Seltos facelift remains similar to the current model save for the new design for the 18-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, the Seltos facelift features bigger LED taillamps and gains a connected LED light bar in between. The tail lights of the Seltos could also gain sequential turn indicators, as revealed via a leaked video. The facelift makes the SUV look a lot fresher and bolder over the current Seltos.

Furthermore, the dashboard could also get a few revisions along with a generous use of soft-touch materials. In terms of features, the Seltos is already a fairly-loaded SUV and we could see the addition of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features with the facelift. A recent spy shot of the Seltos facelift also confirmed the presence of a panoramic sunroof in the C-segment SUV.

The 2023 Kia Seltos is likely to offer the same set of normal petrol and turbo diesel engine options as the current model. Furthermore, Kia could also offer the new 1.5L turbo petrol engine in the Seltos as a replacement for the now discontinued 1.35L (1.4L in Kia’s speak)  turbo petrol engine.
